Join in the fun this year! If you are interested in having a decorated float, tractor, car, riding lawn mower, bicycle, pet or horse, or if you want to decorate yourself with lights and walk in the parade please contact Leanne at 817-783-7323. We have parade entry forms available at the library too. Parade entry numbers will be given out starting at 5 pm at the Alvarado Public Library on Thursday, December 1st.

The event will include the lighting of the City's Christmas tree,  free entertainment and a visit from Santa, with photo opportunities, on the square. Refreshments will be available at the Alvarado Public Library Board's booth.

Santa Land features animated Christmas light displays and other beautiful Christmas lights and decorations all over the Downtown Square. Santa Claus will come to town for his annual visit and will arrive with our  Parade of Lights. After the parade children may visit with Santa Claus and have their pictures taken.

As always the Alvarado Public Library advisory board will have a booth on the square featuring refreshments, and new or gently used movies and books.

These events are sponsored by the City of Alvarado.
